WordPress App review

WordPress Application for the iPhone and iPod Touch

When you first download this application for your iPhone, or iPod Touch you are greeted with this user friendly screen. You must enter your blog URL, wether it’s a __.wordpress.com or a __.com address, you should enter it in the first field. Then you need to enter your WordPress user name, and password. Finally, you can choose if you would like this application to re-size your pictures when you upload them. I don’t.

Next, you are automatically taken back to the home screen. From there you can navigate between two options, “Add another blog”, or click on your blog, when you click your blog, this is the screen you get. You have 3 options to pick from, posts, pages, and comments.

The posts option is all of your posts in a list. You can easily view, edit, or add content to your blog. At the bottom of your screen it displays your newest blogs(within a week) and how many posts you have. You can also add a new blog post, by click the pen on the pad.

This is where you can quick and easily write a new post to publish to your blog, you can add content like pictures, and text as of now. You can also click preview at the bottom where it will take you to in in app browser that will show what the post would look like on your blog.

Quick nasty post:

I would just like to say quickly that I installed the update for my iPhone last night and it killed my iPhone, and gave my computer a virus, I have my computer fixed, but my phone is done. My warranty ended last night at midnight, I HATE YOU APPLE. I’ll blogg more about it later.

TalkTechKid is back, and iPhone 3.0 issue.

Well, as of today, I am officaly back at blogging I appologies for not blogging for a while but I have been on vacation.

Anyway, back to the topic there is a major iPhone 3.0 issue and it’s quite annoying one too.

Problem: My iPhone gets 3/4 of the way and the battery in the top corner shows the plug that it’s full, but it’s not. It’s only 3/4- half of the way, and will not fully charge without you manuly reseting it.

Solutions that DO NOT work—> Restoring, powering off and on, letting it go.

Solutions that are successful—-> Hard reseting, pulling the USB cord out of phone and adapter and re-plugging them in.

Update:

Last night I was laying in bed and was playing around with my phone, I discovered that the MMS settings to the 5.0 carrier file installed last week were not entered, I entered the correct settings and wala, fixed! Here’s how to do it in 3 easy steps:

Step 1

whats up...?

what's up...?

Update to:
Yesterday, I tried to get MMS without upgrading to 3.1, on 3.0. I did this before but I had to restore due to some problems. I installed the 5.0 carrier settings, (that did work on my phone before), it didn’t work? I think AT&T did something with there network that prevents the iPhone from upgrading to 5.0.. hmm….

Oh and I did do everything your supposed too.

iPhone 3.1 stops tethering?

iPhone 3.1

iPhone 3.1

iPhone 3.1 beta is the next iPhone, iPhone 3G, and iPhone 3GS software, it was released to developers a few days ago, and while they were testing it they discovered it stops tethering hacks totally, why? Because it turns tethering on itself! iPHONE TETHERING IS HERE! You know how AT&T won’t tell us how they much money it’s going to cost us for tethering? Well, if iPhone 3.1 unlocks tethering totally, which means when we all upgrade it’s going to be there, right? Well, that’s our hint that AT&T is going to give us tethering for free, amazing right?

AT&T Coverage (1 Year time frame of testing)

AT&T Coverage

AT&T Coverage

Today is one year ago that I got my iPhone 3g, which means I have been on AT&T for one year. There service I am not going to say is the worst, or the best, but it’s been an okay year. I live in an area where there is no 3g but I have recommended it. I have Edge service in my area, and outside I get full coverage, but when I go in doors I have 2-3 bars and in some places in my house none? I am not sure at all why I don’t get full service in my house and honestly it’s quite annoying. All in all the service with AT&T is very good, speedy fast in some areas and very slow and lagy that makes you wanna switch to Verizon in others.
